The latest space over at The Leiser Project is ready to be shared! We've worked hard to turn this master bedroom into a room for adults - not college students - as my client put it. Ha! If you haven't had a chance to check out the video below, please take a peek to get a better sense of the space.
The inspiration for this room came from the bedding that my client already had already picked out. She knew that she loved it, but she was stuck with what to do with the rest of the room. Our next task was to find furniture to not only compliment the headboard but also tie in the rest of her home that had more of a rustic feel to it. We debated keeping the yellow accent pieces to her bedding, and I am so glad we did. I love what the pop of mustard yellow does for this room.
The little seating area in this room was a fun spot to decorate. We tossed around the idea of putting a couple chairs over there... or even a small sectional. Ultimately, we decided to keep it simple. My client doesn't plan on living in this house forever, so she didn't want to invest a lot into furniture that may not have a spot in her next house. Smart move.
Well, I've certainly never seen a college student's room look like this, so I'm thinking we may have accomplished our main goal... to make it look like adults live here. Ha. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love and to work with clients like these. I have the best job ever.
