Marvelous marble
We just had to alliterate here because this marble is everything — from the dark, moody marble countertops and backsplash in the wet bar area to the luxury-level white marble kitchen and bathroom. We are here for every single one of these marble moments featured throughout this amazing Malibu home.
2. Natural wood slat accents
From the dining room feature wall and the primary bedroom headboard, all the way to the base of the primary en suite’s free-standing tub — we are in love with these natural wood slat accents. These slat panels add a perfect earthy, warm touch in each of these spaces and elevate the cozy, coastal feel of this home.

3. Cozy and coastal furnishings
Both inside and outside, the cozy furnishings of this home are plushy perfection. The light-and-bright larger furniture pieces — sectional, side chairs and coffee table — are complimented with earthy, muted coastal toned throw pillows, poufs and blankets. This mix of warm colors and patterns in the accessorizing brings in the beach vibes, while still achieving a high-end, sophisticated look. Our favorite piece in the living room seating area has to be the warm white shearling accent chairs — we’re ready to get comfy!

4. Outdoor oasis
Staycation, here we come! This outdoor oasis truly has it all, but its chaise lounge set really kicks this backyard space up a few notches for us. The teak wood base and cream white cushions look so luxurious it feels like having a mini resort space right at home.
5. Upgraded ambient lighting
If you know us, you know we’re all about adding ambient lighting to a room. We love how the lighting choices throughout this home have been upgraded all the way down to the brass bedside sconces and white mushroom table lamps in the bedrooms. These more unique shapes and styles that also allow for greater functionality are a great way to add an elevated touch in an often overlooked space.

6. Playful patterns
We couldn’t wrap up this post without giving an honorable mention to the playful prints and pops of pattern throughout this Malibu home — from the wall art and tapestry to the throw pillows and linens. But this muted peachy palm print wallpaper tops them all! It’s the perfect coastal tie in that seamlessly makes this trendy choice appear timeless. Love!
