"Let's buy a fixer upper. We can totally renovate it ourselves in the next year," they said. That was 2013. It is now almost 2018 and we are so far from completely renovated that all we can really do is laugh at ourselves... and then come to terms that DIYing + parenting is so much harder than it looks on TV. Therefore you only get to see snippets from this partially-renovated house that we are still happy to call home.
